Creating a public transport campaign

Students identify and research a public transport safety issue. Using recent campaigns as models, they consider elements such as visual, emotive and figurative language, similes, humour, catchy music and themes and determine the key messages/elements of the campaign. They create a slogan and key messaging and use it in a persuasive text e.g. a billboard, a series of text messages, a television advertisement.
