Bike Ed Units of Work
Curriculum 2.0 aligned and differentiated units of work that support the teaching of Bike Ed.
The Bike Ed program includes four comprehensive teaching units that are fully aligned with Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and differentiated to support students with a range of learning needs.
Each unit also contains:
- 8–10 flexible lessons that can be adapted to suit your timetable and students' needs
- everything you need to teach the program, including lesson plans, student handouts, videos, activity resources and teacher guidance.
Whether you're delivering a complete unit or selecting individual lessons, the resources are designed to make planning and teaching Bike Ed simple and engaging.
The four units cover:
- Unit 1 (Years 1-2): Becoming a bike rider
- Unit 2 (Years 3-4): Getting ready to ride on paths
- Unit 3 (Years 5-6): Getting ready to ride on roads
- Unit 4 (Years 7-8): Riding independently
