This resource provides an overview of the approach and outlines the free programs, resources and support available to all Victorian schools.
Between 2023 and 2025, a series of road safety surveys was conducted across Victorian early childhood services and primary, secondary and specialist schools. The surveys were designed to identify opportunities for the Victorian Government's road safety partners to better support the education sector by strengthening road safety education and improving safety both within and beyond the school gate.
The survey findings also establish a baseline to inform future evaluation of the road safety partners' whole-of-school community approach to road safety.
