Overview

The lessons aim to make sure learners and their supervising drivers have the skills, partnership and resources needed to get the most out of the learn-to-drive journey.

By giving learner drivers the best start possible, we can help them get on the road more safely.

The program is a partnership between the Department of Transport and Planning and the Transport Accident Commission.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a free lesson you must:

  • hold a Victorian learner permit
  • be 16 – 21 years old
  • have completed 10 – 50 hours of driving practice
  • have a fully licensed supervisor in attendance (the person who will supervise most of your driving)
Redeem lesson
  1. Register your details on myLearners free lesson website to receive free lesson ID (FLID).
  2. Find an accredited myLearners free lesson driving instructor using your suburb.
  3. Book a lesson directly and provide your FLID.
  4. Attend lesson with supervising driver.
