myLearners
MyLearners is an app that helps learners record their supervised driving hours as they work towards the 120-hour requirement. It also provides guidance for learners and supervisors through the four stages of learning to drive, including a checklist to track progress.
All learner drivers under 21 must complete 120 hours of supervised driving practice under the Graduated Licensing System (GLS) before applying for a driver licence. The myLearners app helps learners and supervisors log these hours, including road types, traffic, and weather conditions, ensuring a broad range of driving experience and helping plan practice for conditions learners will face when driving independently.
myLearners also includes a website, accessible via the MyTeaching and MyLearning sections, which provides guidance for learners and supervisors. Based on the four stages of learning to drive, it helps match driving tasks to the learner's experience and gradually builds the skills needed to manage more complex driving situations.
Together, these tools support the development of safe driving behaviours and skills for a lifetime of safe driving.
