Overview

A wide range of resources are available to help you successfully deliver the Bike Ed program in your school.

In addition to essential teaching materials, schools may be able to access further support, including:

  • grants and equipment loan or hire options to help with equipment such as bikes, helmets, and storage sheds, as well as bike maintenance support to keep equipment safe and ready to use are available in the Menu for Support
  • specific resources for support for all students in Bike Ed including social stories and visuals
  • case studies and ideas from schools currently implementing Bike Ed
  • Sample Department of Education risk register for the out of school boundary component of Bike Ed

These supports are designed to make it easier for schools to establish and maintain a strong Bike Ed program over time.
